Community Interest Company

The Orchard Forest School is part of South West Family Values, a Community Interest Company who provide services to the local community, supporting families, children and adults.  We work work with schools and families across Torbay and the surrounding areas. We are grateful to Lupton House who have donated the use of the orchard for this facility. A lot of hard work and effort from staff and volunteers has helped create a beautiful outdoor space for the community to share and enjoy. We have various events happening at Orchard Forest School throughout the year aimed at encouraging people of all ages to be outdoors and enjoy nature, as well as learning new skills!  For Parents and toddlers we run term time 'Mini Explorer' sessions, in school holidays we run various events and activities aimed at families with children of all ages, as well as other events like Apple Pruning classes, over 55's activities, family fun and food sessions amongst others, through the year aimed at all different age groups. Sessions can be privately funded and others are funded through grants or charities.  We work with other local businesses, Lupton House and Paignton Community Food Larder, to name just a couple, to ensure we can deliver a variety of events and give the community what they need. If you have any ideas or suggestions, we would love to hear them!
