We are a women-only drop-in supporting vulnerable women who have come out of or are in domestic violent situations. Women who are in recovery from drug/alcoholic addictions, and any who have mental health issues, brought on by the aforementioned or because of isolation. Everyone has a story and some are heartbreaking, but to see them start to engage with each other and get involved with the craft table, start to laugh and relax is a wonderful thing to happen. We need volunteers who love craft or would like to learn more skills in that area, and we also need one or two volunteers who like catering. On Mondays we provide a simple hot meal, we also offer home-made cake tea/coffee/squash. So help in the kitchen would be very much appreciated. We open on Mondays 11.30-2.00 and on Wednesdays 1.30-4.00 renting the top floor of the Salvation Army building in Market Street.
